Baileys launches alcohol-free RTD cans
Food and drinks producer Kraft Heinz has partnered with Diageo to launch a new range of ready-to-drink (RTD) alcohol-free Baileys iced coffees.
Kraft Heinz partnered with Diageo for a new range of Baileys-branded coffee products
The new Baileys Cold Brew cans come in Irish Cream and Salted Caramel flavours, with further line extensions due to launch in 2020.
“We’re excited to bring Baileys to the coffee aisle in non-alcoholic everyday formats,” said Tina Bletnitsky, senior associate brand manager at Kraft Heinz Coffee.
“Consumers have been adding Baileys Irish Cream to their coffee for years so this partnership is a natural fit for those looking for a delicious coffee experience.”
Alongside the RTD iced coffees, Kraft Heinz has also unveiled Baileys-branded roast and ground coffee bags and Keurig K-Cup coffee machine pods.
Declan Hassett, senior licensing manager at Diageo, said: “Baileys is not only the world’s number-one cream liqueur, it’s also one of the most desired adult treats.
“From ice cream to chocolates, we’ve extended the brand into new indulgent categories but there is nothing closer to the brand than a flavourful cup of coffee. With this partnership, now all adults can treat themselves with the perfect cup of Baileys ready-to-drink coffee in a can.”
Priced at US$2.39 per 325ml can, Baileys Cold Brew cans are available in the US from grocers and online stores.
