Pau Maui calls for entries to US cocktail competition
Hawaiian brand Pau Maui Vodka is calling for the US’s top bartenders to participate in its Road to Maui cocktail competition, entries for which will close this week.
Six finalists will compete in the Road to Maui competition in Hawaii this September
Bartenders have until 25 July to submit an original cocktail and story online at Road2Maui.com for entry into the competition.
Inspired by the brand’s island roots, the Road to Maui competition challenges bartenders to create a cocktail and story inspired by paradise.
Entrants will be scored on the quality of the recipe and the story they tell about its concept and execution.
Once online submissions close, six finalists will be chosen to compete at the final held in Maui, Hawaii.
One finalist from each region (Hawaii, west, southwest, midwest, northeast, and southeast) will be flown to Maui from 22-24 September for an “inclusive brand experience” and to compete in the final.
Celebrity judges and a venue for the final will be announced soon.
Produced on the slopes of Haleakala at Hali’imaile Distilling Company, Pau Maui is a “seed-to-bottle” vodka made with Hawaiian spring water and pineapple.
