Boutique-y to create city-inspired gins with bartenders

Independent bottler That Boutique-y Gin Company (TBGC) is hoping to “unite the bartending community” in three UK cities with the creation of gins inspired by each location.

TBGC will work with bartenders in Bristol, Edinburgh and Liverpool to create three gins

TBGC will host workshops in Edinburgh, Bristol and Liverpool where the brand will work with bartenders to create expressions inspired by each city.

During the one-day blending sessions, attendees will work together to create everything, from the liquid through to the label. TBGC’s team of blenders will then bring each creation to life.

Jennifer Ghosh, global brand manager at TBGC, said: “That Boutique-y Gin loves collaborating with the most creative minds around and we want to find those that share our no-boundaries approach when it comes to experimenting with flavour.

“Our goal is to make the bartender community feel part of something bigger.”

Each city’s gin will be blended using botanicals inspired by the local area, and label illustrator Gareth Scott will be on hand to capture the “spirit of the blending sessions” for the finished bottle label design.

The sessions to create each city’s gin will take place at The Milk Thistle, Bristol, on 11 June; Folk, Liverpool, on 25 June; and The Register Club, Edinburgh, on 27 June.
