Fever-Tree appoints Brew as Australian ambassador

Bartender Trish Brew has become the first Australian brand ambassador for mixer brand Fever-Tree.

Trish Brew is the first Australian brand ambassador for Fever-Tree

Brew will be responsible for building the brand’s trade and distillery relationships, as well as advocating the brand at consumer events, and highlighting the importance of Fever-Tree in cocktails and mixed drinks.

She officially stepped into the role this week, and her first task will be to lead Fever-Tree’s new dark spirit mixing campaign, which includes the launch of two new products in Australia – Spiced Orange Ginger Ale and Smoky Ginger Ale, which launched in the UK earlier this year.

Andy Gaunt, Fever-Tree Asia Pacific brand director, said: “We’re excited to have Trish on board as brand ambassador to continue telling our brand story, to work closely with distillers across the country, and educate the trade and our consumers on why a quality mixer is just as important as a quality spirit.

“Trish brings a lot of experience and knowledge and we’re looking forward to the potential this role gives us to continue sharing our story and passion for making delicious drinks.”

Trish brings 12 years of bartending experience to the role, most recently working as bar manager at the Gin Palace, Melbourne, where she was in charge of staff development, and training.

Brew commented: “It’s a huge opportunity and I’m looking forward to challenging myself and working with passionate people all over the country to educated and inspire them to consider the mix.”

Fever-Tree unveiled a range of ready-to-drink (RTD) gin and tonics earlier this month, which are set to launch this summer.

The brand’s full-year revenue in 2018 was up 40% compared to the previous year, boosted by its continued success in the UK.
