Distilled Spirits Council unveils Partner Membership Program

US trade body the Distilled Spirits Council has launched the Partner Membership Program to better connect spirits companies with supply chain businesses.

The Partner Membership Program aims to better connect spirits companies with supply chain businesses

The programme features numerous package options, which will be available to individuals, companies, corporations and associations working in distilled spirits supply chains and related businesses. This is the first time the Distilled Spirits Council membership has been available to those outside of spirits-producing companies.

Partner members will be provided with opportunities to network and connect with spirits industry leaders to discuss opinions, discover resources, share their expertise and will be offered support in relation to issues affecting the industry.

Further benefits of becoming a member, depending on the level of membership acquired, could include access to expertise and analysis from the Distilled Spirits Council, industry events, leadership and development opportunities, “real-time” state and federal tracking and legislative updates, and sponsorship opportunities.

Chris Swonger, president and CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council and Responsibility.org, said: “Our supply chains play a critical role in the success of the distilled spirits industry. Creating this new Partnership Membership Program will further strengthen the spirits industry by expanding our base of spirits advocates, while receiving important input and technical expertise from our supply chain partners on key issues facing the industry.”

Earlier this month, the Distilled Spirits Council created the Craft Advisory Council to address issues affecting ‘craft’ distillers in the US.
