Boutique-y Gin offers more liquid for same price

Independent gin bottler That Boutique-y Gin Company has increased the bottle size for 10 of its core expressions from 500ml to 700ml at no extra cost to consumers.

The new 700ml bottles will launch this month and include: That Boutique-y Gin’s Moonshot, Cherry, Spit-Roasted Pineapple, Yuzu, Rhubarb Triangle, Strawberry Balsamico, Cucamelon, Neroli, Finger Lime and Chocolate Orange.

As part of the move, each expression will now be bottled at 46% abv “to create consistency across the range”. The new formats will retain their original price of £29.95 (US$39) per bottle, despite the 40% increase in liquid.

Ben Ellefsen, managing director of parent company Atom Brands, said: “The first two years’ growth in That Boutique-y Gin has been explosive. We’ve proved the concept of incredible liquids in unique packaging, as well as gaining huge efficiencies of scale.

“We’re now at the stage where we’re able to pass these efficiencies on to our customers by moving to a larger pack size across our core range with no increase in price and no change in the award-winning liquid, other than creating consistency across the range by standardising the abvs.

“This move represents a ‘thank you’ to the tune of a full 40% to our customers for their belief in the brand, and enables them to get ever closer to that vision.”
