The new menu, called A Journey Through The Great Musical Genres, is inspired by musical styles from the past century.

The 18 new cocktails are accompanied by a collection of artwork by British artist Gerald Scarfe, who lent his name to the bar.

The menu is the first to be created by new head bartender Yann Bouvignies along with bars director Martin Siska.

Every member of the bar team, from waiter to bartender, has been involved in developing the cocktails.

To create the cocktails, the bar team used key characteristics of the artists featured including Prince, Aretha Franklin and Tupac.

The musical genres represented are: pop, classic, soul, jazz, funk, rock, electro, world and hip-hop. Two drinks have been created to represent each artist and their career highlights.

Cocktails on the menu include the “vegetal and bright” Scarfes Issue to represent the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, while Bob Marley’s Rastafarian roots are referenced in the non-alcoholic No Booze No Cry.

Scarfes Issue

Genre: Rock

Paying tribute to American rock band Red Hot Chilli Peppers, this serve nods to the “second, less reckless wave” of their career. The serve features Glenfiddich 15-year-old and has notes of watermelon and carrot.

Hope Street

Genre: World

Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley is embodied in this non-alcoholic serve, which uses a hoppy 0% beer. The serve has hints of sandalwood, raspberry and barley.

Scandal Symbol

Genre: Funk

Served clarified and straight up, this Avion Tequila-based drink pays tribute to Prince’s “overtly passionate” songs. The luminous pink and fruity creation has flavours of rhubarb, passion fruit and curry leaf, and is topped with Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne.

Petit DJ Né

Genre: Electro

This twist on a classic Piña Colada is inspired by electronic duo Daft Punk and references the group’s lounge style of electro to be enjoyed at all hours of the day.

Created to resemble a French breakfast, the cocktail features a taste of cereal, orange and brioche, offset by the “crisp dryness” of Grey Goose vodka.
