RumHaven partners with US Color Run

E&J Gallo-owned rum brand RumHaven has been named an official partner of The Color Run 2019 series, which will tour the US this summer.

RumHaven will sponsor Color Run’s Love Tour across the US

As part of The Color Run’s 2019 Love Tour, 5km runs will take place in major cities across the US. At each event, participants will be showered with colourful powder as they complete the course.

As a partner of the events, RumHaven will invite participants over 21-years-old to join its Finish Festival where they will be able to enjoy the brand’s signature serves.

Britt West, vice president of marketing at E&J Gallo, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with The Color Run to bring people across the country together and introduce them to RumHaven.

“We hope participants enjoy our custom RumHaven colour zone during the race, and will come join us post-race at our Runner’s Haven to sample fresh-tasting RumHaven cocktails and learn more about what makes us unique compared to other coconut-flavoured rums.”

At each 2019 The Color Run event, participants will pass through RumHaven’s own colour zone with full branding and custom colour throws. After each race, of-age participants will be invited to the Runner’s Haven to sample RumHaven cocktails, receive branded items and capture the perfect Instagram snapshot with RumHaven’s life-size coconut cup.

The RumHaven activation first took place on 2 March in Las Vegas with the brand set to take part in events in 17 US cities including Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles between now and the end of summer.

The Color Run product manager Mandy Hewlett said: “On our 2019 Love Tour, we’re focusing on ways we can better love ourselves, each other, and the planet we all share, which is why we’re excited to welcome RumHaven into The Color Run family. We love working with a team that has respect for the environment and carries out their work thoughtfully.”
