Mr Lyan creates kegged cocktail guide

Jack Daniel’s has partnered with Super Lyan owner Ryan Chetiyawardana to publish a guide for UK-based bartenders on how to install kegged cocktails in their venues.

The Nitro Legacy Handbook will teach bartenders how to install and operate kegged cocktail systems

Chetiyawardana, aka Mr Lyan, and Jack Daniel’s have created the Nitro Legacy Handbook, which has been developed for bartenders across the UK who want to install their own cocktail taps.

The 20-page manual has been designed to “demystify” the skills needed to design and install a kegged cocktail system. The guide also explains the process of producing pre-batched kegged recipes across three main categories – straight carbonation, nitrogen-dispensed cocktails and non-fizzy drinks.

Chetiyawardana said: “Consistency and quality are two of the core principles that Super Lyan was founded upon, and we are passionate about sharing the processes and knowledge we have refined with Jack Daniel’s through the Nitro Legacy Handbook.”

Chetiyawardana previously partnered with the Brown-Forman-owned American whiskey brand to create the “world’s first” Espresso Martini to be served on tap.

A limited run of hard copies will be available, as well as a digital edition that will be available for download.
