Venning brothers to open fourth venue
Renowned London bar operators Max and Noel Venning have partnered with former Dinner by Heston bartender Brodie Meah to open Top Cuvée.
Top Cuvée will open in Islington, north London, in February 2019
Opening in Islington, north London, Top Cuvée will be the fourth venue from the Three Sheets owners when it opens in February.
The new venue will offer carefully crafted cocktails made using modern techniques, with a focus on apèritifs and ingredients that go well with food.
The wine list will be short and constantly evolving, with wines by the glass rotating daily. The bar aims to offer wines from small producers who showcase natural wines.
Top Cuvée will also offer a rotating list of craft beers, which will sit alongside a single draught line.
The latest bar from Max and Noel Venning will also act as a high-end off-licence for the area, with everything on its menu available to take away until 10pm.
Head chef Dan Miller, formerly of Naughty Piglets and Harwood Arms, will curate the food menu, which has been inspired by the wine bars and small eateries of Paris. “Intelligently” sourced, seasonal ingredients will form the backbone of the menu, which will offer sharing plates prepared using classic techniques, alongside a range of charcuteries and cheeses.
Last year, the Venning brothers created a menu of innovative cocktails for newly-opened London restaurant Gridiron.
