Kuro expands with peach and cherry blossom gins
Japanese-inspired gin brand Kuro has expanded its portfolio with two limited edition flavours – Kuro Soft Peach and Kuro Cherry Blossom.
Only 800 bottles of Kuro Cherry Blossom Gin and Kuro Soft Peach Gin are available
Each expression is limited to 800 bottles, which are available in 500ml formats from Harvey Nichols stores and via the Kuro Gin website from this month (November). Both flavours are bottled at 40% abv and have an RRP of £29 (US$37).
Kuro Gin was inspired by the slopes of the Hakuba Valley in Japan. Other botanicals used in the London Dry-style gin include silver birch bark, spruce needles and bamboo.
Craig Fell, managing director at Kuro, said: “Following a fantastic 16 months since our signature Kuro Gin launched, we have been keen to experiment further and extend the story of the gin that was inspired by a skiing trip to the Hakuba Valley.
“We have specially selected the flavours in keeping with Kuro’s Japanese roots. The two new expressions are playful and fruity, with sweet notes that allow consumers to make delicious and different flavoured gin cocktails themselves, without being a mixologist.
“We want to introduce Kuro to even more UK gin drinkers and this is a fantastic way to do it – replicating the thrill of the slopes, beauty of the alpine surroundings and atmosphere of the après-ski in an undeniably drinkable gin.”
