Former BlackTail head bartender joins Atlas

Former BlackTail head bartender Jesse Vida has joined the team at Atlas, Singapore
Vida, who has more than 10 years of bartending and bar management experience across San Francisco and New York, joined Atlas after departing New York’s BlackTail in October.
In a post on his Instagram account, Vida said: “It has been a whirlwind the last 48 hours to say the least. From picking up and moving halfway across the world to the gracious and humbling welcome from the stellar team at Atlas I am a very lucky guy.
“I cannot wait to integrate and contribute to one of the best cocktail communities in the world. Singapore thank you for having me, Atlas I cannot wait to get started!”
Vida has previously held roles at a number of renowned New York bars, including Booker + Dax and Dead Rabbit. Most recently, he led the team at BlackTail where he helped the venue earn a spot on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, while also being awarded Best New American Cocktail Bar at The Spirited Awards at Tales of the Cocktail.
In this year’s Spirited Awards, Atlas was recognised as one of the best international cocktail bars.
