Angel’s Envy aims to connect drinkers and distillers

Bacardi-owned Bourbon brand Angel’s Envy has launched a consumer engagement platform to bring whiskey fans closer to the distillers.

500 Main will give fans access to video content, cocktail recipes and distillery news

500 Main was launched by Louisville-based Angel’s Envy in order to engage fans directly with the Bourbon brand through online and offline experiences.

Wes Henderson, co-founder and chief innovation officer at Angel’s Envy, said: “We challenged ourselves to bring a little of what makes our distillery at 500 Main Street in Louisville so special to consumers year-round, no matter where they’re located.”

Members of the platform will receive invites to localised events and will be able to engage with Angel’s Envy’s team of educators – the Whiskey Guardians.

Henderson said: “We know that when people visit our distillery, meet our team or engage with our Whiskey Guardians, they walk away with a greater appreciation and affinity for Angel’s Envy, and 500 Main lets us bring that feeling, and those experiences, to a larger audience of our fans around the country.”

On the online platform, members will gain access to behind-the-scenes videos of the distilling process, be the first to learn about new releases, and receive cocktail inspiration and tasting tips from the Angel’s Envy Whiskey Guardian family.

To become a member, fans can visit 500main.angelsenvy.com.
