Amber Beverage launches new gin brand
By Amy HopkinsLuxembourg-based Amber Beverage Group has unveiled Cross Keys Gin, said to “represent the true spirit of the Baltic states”.
Cross Keys Gin can be enjoyed on the rocks, with tonic water or mixed in a classic cocktail, according to its maker
The gin will launch in the UK, Russia, Australia, Italy and the Baltic states.
“The unique aroma and structure of Cross Keys Gin is based on the symmetric interplay of four key ingredients: chamomile, linden blossoms, rosemary, and juniper,” said Cobus van Rooijen, Amber Beverage Group’s marketing and sales director.
“This authentic recipe requires great care, therefore Cross Keys Gin is locally handcrafted in small batches.”
Cross Keys Gin comes in a natural black clay container that is said to “enhance the ageing process of gin”.
It joins brands including Riga Black Balsam, Moskovskaya Vodka, Rooster Rojo Tequila and Cosmopolitan Diva in Amber Beverage Group’s portfolio.
Amber Beverage has sought to enhance its international footprint over the last year, completing of its acquisition of Australia’s Think Spirits in May and increasing its stake in UK distributor Cellar Trends in June.
