Diageo has unveiled the latest ‘Keep Walking’ campaign for blended Scotch Johnnie Walker, designed to celebrate how whisky brings people together.

Johnnie Walker’s latest ‘Keep Walking’ campaign focuses on people and whisky

Inspired by the blend of whiskies from around Scotland that comprise the Johnnie Walker expressions, the campaign aims to highlight what happens when “great whiskies and great people” come together.

The new campaign features aerial photography and landscapes from across the Highland, Island, Speyside and Lowland regions of Scotland, as well as a series of “feel-good” films depicting a man walking through numerous everyday moments around the world.

The campaign will cover TV, digital and out-of-home media. It was first launched in Europe in May and will now be rolled out globally.

John Williams, Johnnie Walker global brand director, said: “For the best part of 200 years we’ve sought out the best whiskies from all over Scotland for people to enjoy when they get together with those who matter to them.

“That’s what really excites me about this campaign, it’s a chance to put a spotlight on the fact that we bring together exceptional tasting Scotch whiskies from every nook and cranny of the country and spend our time crafting them so that people can enjoy amazing flavours when they get together with their friends and family.”

The campaign follows the revelation of a £150m investment by Diageo in Scotch whisky tourism last month, including the creation of a new Johnnie Walker brand experience in Edinburgh.
