Jägermeister launches TR-exclusive city-themed bottles

Herbal liqueur brand Jägermeister has launched a range of travel retail-exclusive bottle designs, inspired by famous cities.

The GTR-exclusive range features bottles inspired by Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen

The range will launch in travel retail later this month with bottle designs depicting cities including Berlin, Hamburg and Amsterdam. Each design will depict images of famous landmarks from the city.

The designs will also feature a discrete reference to the local experiences hidden amongst the images, such as the music scene in Berlin and nightlife in Hamburg.

Later this year, the range of designs will be expanded to include cities such as Moscow, Sydney and Auckland.

Mast-Jägermeister director of GTR, Dietmar Franke, said: “Jägermeister is offering customers and travellers something completely unique in the market.

“As we continue to build on the momentum initiated at the start of the year within this channel, we are excited to introduce this new and exclusive packaging that positively reflects the new brand identity for Jägermeister, instrumental in driving brand premiumisation.”

The brand is targeting travellers who are looking for a “unique souvenir” with the new bottle designs, which are a remix of an initial, smaller collection of city bottles that launched in 2016.

The range will initially be available in Heinemann stores carrying an RRP of €17.50 per one litre bottle.
