Loch Lomond Group has launched its ‘largest’ GTR activation at Heathrow Terminal 5

The initiative will showcase the group’s Loch Lomond and Glen Scotia whiskies until 24 April.

Having recently signed a five-year sponsorship deal with golf championship The Open, the Heathrow activation will feature large colour display screens showing imagery of the Scotch whisky distilleries and The Open.

Travellers will also have the chance to see the Claret Jug trophy on the stand from 17-20 April, as well as win tickets to The Open.

Glen Scotia visuals, products and sampling opportunities will also be available at the space in World Duty Free.

André de Almeida, managing director of GTR at Loch Lomond Group, said: “In March, we released an exclusive Loch Lomond Inchmurrin Single Cask bottling to celebrate the 10th anniversary of London Heathrow Terminal 5, which sold out in less than a week.

“Building on Loch Lomond whiskies’ status as ‘the spirit of The Open’, this new experience is our latest GTR marketing initiative to date and forms part of our ambitious worldwide roll-out of our brands into the channel.”
