DQ Vodka shoots for the stars

DQ Vodka is entering the realm of celebrity after sponsoring a number of events attended by high profile actors, sportspeople and musicians.

DQ Vodka has been cruising the celebrity circuit

DQ, which stands for ‘distilled quality’, is created using Swedish winter wheat and water. Its “secret recipe” has been developed by master blender Solveig Sommarström.

Now, the brand has set its sights on the stars.

It recently rubbed shoulders with celebrities including former Swedish world number one tennis player Björn Borg, Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård, and American actor Shia LaBeouf as a sponsor of the film premiere of Borg vs McEnroe.

DQ also aligned itself with The Rolling Stones by serving an array of cocktails at the Café Opera party in Stockholm celebrating the legendary rockers. The spirit has even received a royal tip of the hat from the King of Sweden.

In December 2017, DQ was the main sponsor for The Spirits Business’s Global Spirits Masters Awards Lunch, expanding its global awareness.

DQ has launched a new initiative that offers bespoke limited-edition bottles for parties and events.

This follows the brand’s US launch through MHW, a leading importer and distributor.

DQ will attend the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) Convention in Las Vegas from 30 April to 3 May, where it hopes to make more business acquaintances.
