Drinks producer launches spirits subscription club

A spirits producer has launched a new annual membership club that aims to become the “go-to source for people discovering the world of fine spirits”.

Flaviar has a database of over 20,000 spirits at its disposal

The spirits online club, called Flaviar, has been in the making for five years, and is now spreading out to allow members to join and experience products from a database of 22,206 spirits.

The community is focused on “taste, exploration and quality”.

Grisa Soba, founder of Flaviar, said that they are dedicated to providing “education, discovery and unparalleled access to the world of spirits”.

The annual membership fee is US$210, for which members receive themed quarterly Tasting Boxes, access to member-only private bottlings, free shipping, original content and access to live experiences and regional tasting events.

Soba added: “We started off by sending monthly tasting boxes to our customers but over time, our offerings evolved. Five years later, having thousands of members in US and Europe not only gives us a thriving global community of spirits aficionados, it also lets us source and bottle products exclusively for our members, providing a truly unique membership experience.”

Soba has also dabbled in spirits, producing Absinthe Supreme, Fukoff Vodka and Supreme Icon Sparkling wine since 2005.

Earlier this year, online spirits retailer Master of Malt also launched a subscription club.
