Lakes Distillery expands business development team
Cumbria-based The Lakes Distillery has appointed four additional business development managers to grow brand awareness in the UK’s retail and wholesale industries.

Based in Newcastle, Cumbria and Manchester, the new members of the team will be tasked with developing relationships with stockists, wholesalers and retailers.
Kieron Hall and Clayton Nagel will be based at The Lakes Distillery’s head office in Gosforth, Newcastle, covering Scotland and the north east of England.
Hall has more than 13 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, while sales professional Nagel has worked with a number of businesses across the drinks, publishing and housing industries.
Chris Pateman, who will cover Cumbria and the surrounding areas, has experience working for for Majestic Wines, The Whisky Shop and Rémy Cointreau.
The final appointment has been made in Manchester, with the new team member slated to join the team in autumn.
“The Lakes Distillery is not only an award-winning tourist attraction, our spirits are award-winning too,” said Maria Duddin, business development, PR and events manager of The Lakes Distillery.
“With the appointment of the business development managers across the country we hope to see our spirits in a number of different retail and wholesale outlets, therefore allowing our customers to be able to buy the spirits anywhere across the UK.
