Henkell redesigns Mangaroca Batida de Côco

German spirits maker Henkell & Co has launched a new bottle design for coconut liqueur Mangaroca Batida de Côco, after purchasing the brand earlier this year.

Mangaroca Batida de Côco’s new design enhances its Brazilian heritage

The liqueur’s new design has been created to enhance its Brazilian heritage. The “modern” design features a high, slim-waisted shape to facilitate handling with further embossing and sculpting.

The cockatoo has moved into the centre of the label with a black, white, and gold colour scheme.

The reduced amount of print in the new label design will help to increase clarity and readability, and the overall “stylish look” will appeal to new, younger consumers as well its loyal fans.

Extensive measures are being rolled out in support of the relaunch of Mangaroca Batida de Côco. In addition to POS materials and displays, there will be a range of high-profile event marketing activities. At the same time, a redesigned website will be providing information and entertaining facts about the coconut liqueur and its Brazilian origins.

The new Mangaroca Batida de Côco design will be available in stores from July 2017.

In March this year, Henkell & Co acquired the Mangaroca product portfolio, including the Batida de Côco liqueur brand, from Sassoli de Bianchi for an undisclosed sum.
