Cognac house Hine kicks off portfolio-wide revamp

As Thomas Hine & Co readies to unveil design changes across its entire Cognac stable, the house has debuted a new look for its H by Hine VSOP expression.

The new packaging channels a “livelier, fresher, more vibrant” look, and incorporates Hine’s refined stag logo.

Cellar master and estate manager Eric Forget first developed H by Hine VSOP in 2004 as a “young, fruit forward” blend of Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie.

He describes it as “expressive yet discrete, with hints of iris, fresh apricot, acacia and white pepper”.

The Hine Cognac family also includes Hine rare VSOP, Hine Cigar Reserve XO, Hine Antique XO Premier Cry, Hine Triomphe, Hine Marriage, Domaines Hine Bonneuil, Hine Jarnac-matured and Early-landed Vintages.

The new-look H by Hine VSOP bottle will be available in 3-litre, 750ml, 700ml, 200ml and 50ml sizes.

In April, Hine  named Enguerrand Leonetti as its new brand ambassador, working across a number of key markets.
