By Amy HopkinsPernod Ricard has launched a new bottle design for Absolut Vodka in the UK market that celebrates the LGBTQ community.
Absolut Vodka is showing support for the LGBTQ community with a limited edition design
The limited edition bottle, which includes a ‘Taking pride in diversity’ statement on the back label, is the third bottle released by Absolut in support of LGBTQ consumers.
This year’s interpretation will feature in a “high-impact, multi-million-pound media campaign”.
“It’s going to be an exciting few months for Absolut, with this limited-edition bottle marking the start of an ambitious multi-million-pound marketing campaign for us,” said Adam Boita, head of marketing at Pernod Ricard UK.
“Absolut’s bold creativity and historical championing of the LGBTQ community has always been its point of difference, and with this year being the 50th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality in England and Wales, we’re proud to promote diversity once again.”
The new bottle, which contains Absolut Original Vodka, will be available across the off-trade from July 2017.
Last month, Pernod Ricard released a limited edition bottle design to mark the 150th anniversary of Canada.
