Stoli to launch vodka with real fruit
SPI Group-owned Stoli Vodka has unveiled new brand extension Stoli Crushed – a mix of real fruit juice and the vodka’s gluten-free expression.
Stoli Crushed is a range of gluten-free vodkas made with real fruit juice
Available in the US, Stoli Crushed currently comes in two flavours: Pienapple and Ruby Red Grapefruit. Distributor Stoli Group USA calls the product the “first premium imported vodka to enter the real fruit juice spirits segment”.
“The real fruit juice category is on the verge of explosive growth as consumers today are craving easy-to-mix spirits and real flavours,” said Patrick Piana, president and CEO, Stoli Group USA.
“With Stoli Crushed, we are looking to elevate the category and to widen our spectrum of Stoli consumers. We are tremendously proud of the high-quality Pineapple and Ruby Red Grapefruit flavours we developed and are marking this as our biggest innovation to date.”
Stoli Crushed is an extension of the new Stoli Gluten Free innovation – a “completely new gluten-free recipe” comprising corn and buckwheat. It is produced at the brand’s production facilities in Riga, Latvia.
Bottled at 30% abv, the range will be available across the US from May 2017 at an RRP of US$16.99.
Last year, in the standard segment, Diageo launched Smirnoff Sourced – a flavoured vodka range that is infused with real fruit juice, labelled gluten-free and devoid of high-fructose corn syrup.
