Jack Daniel’s rolls out Southern Peach RTD
Jack Daniel’s has partnered with R&B singer K Michelle to introduce a new flavoured expression to its RTD malted beverage range, Country Cocktails.
Southern Peach will launch nationwide this summer
Initially rolling out in southeast US states in April 2017, Southern Peach will launch nationwide this summer.
Building upon an initial partnership with Jack Daniel’s, Michelle was involved in the creation of the new flavour, which included the design of the custom gold crown cap.
“We are excited to team with K Michelle for Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails, Southern Peach,” said Casey Nelson, brand director, Jack Daniel’s flavour portfolio.
“K Michelle has been a friend of Jack Daniel’s for quite some time, and we are excited to embark on this new journey together.”
Michelle added: “Jack Daniel’s is a brand with rich history. Also being from Tennessee, I’ve always appreciated how JD falls in line with my southern values.
“This collaboration with Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails is a celebration of all those values, and I’m excited to share that with my fans.”
The new addition joins the brand’s flavoured RTD range, which includes: Lynchburg Lemonade, Downhome Punch, Berry Punch, Watermelon Punch, and Black Jack Cola.
In August last year, Jack Daniel’s targeted Australia’s ready-to-drink whiskey market with the launch of Jack Daniel’s American Serve, available in three flavours.
