9. Kratena and Caporale create bar symposium

pour-symposiumAfter departing London stalwart The Langham’s Artesian, Alex Kratena and Simone Caporale aimed to “build a holistic community for the global drinks industry” with “bartender collective”, (P)OUR Symposium.

With plans to convene annually, they went on to host the inaugural meet in Paris in June, inviting professionals from the drinks industry and beyond tackle issues such as sustainability, alcohol dependency and social responsibility.
