Mac & Wild creates Scottish bottled cocktails

London-based bar and restaurant Mac & Wild has created a range of bottled cocktails containing Scottish ingredients ahead of Burns Night.

Mac & Wild’s new bottled cocktails all contain Scotch whisky

Mac & Wild’s mixologist Luke Leiper created the four-strong range to take guests’ “taste buds on a trip to the Highlands”.

All 50cl bottlings are small-batch blends of Scottish whisky and spirits infused with locally sourced Scottish herbs and botanicals. The range is priced £29.95 to £31.95 and targets gifting and at-home drinking occasions.

Included in the collection is the Manhattan-style Ginger Laddie, a mix of Bruichladdich Scotch whisky with oloroso Sherry, sweet vermouth, ginger and bitters; Negroni-style Auld Pal, containing Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old Scotch, vermouth, Suze Gentian, dandelion and burdock bitters, chamomile and gorse flowers; Spritz-style Bonnie Brae, made with Haig Club Scotch, rosato vermouth, rowan berries, lime, rhubarb, Peychaud’s bitters, and agave; and Old Fashioned-style The Forager, a mix of Glenkinchie 12 Year Old Scotch, heather-infused honey, barrel-aged bitters and forage pine leaf tincture.

Mac & Wild has also released a gift box containing 5cl versions of the cocktails, which is priced £23.38. The gif box and all full-sized bottlings are available through Mac & Wild’s website.
