Jack Daniel’s launches whiskey-infused coffee
Caffeine-crazed Jack Daniel’s lovers can now have a taste of their favourite tipple in the morning with the launch of the brand’s new whiskey-infused Arabica coffee.
100% Arabica coffee is infused with Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey.
Created in partnership with roasting company World of Coffee, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Coffee sees 100% medium-roasted Arabica coffee infused with Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey – resulting in “caramel and vanilla notes”.
The coffee officially launched over the festive period and was previewed at the Specialty Food Association’s 2016 Summer Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center in New York City in June.
“We use the best tasting and highest quality coffees in the world and now add to that the authentic taste and aroma of Jack Daniel’s,” said Charlie Newman, president/owner and roast master of World of Coffee.
“We take a lot of care and pride in the coffee products we craft and Jack Daniel’s Coffee is no exception.”
Jack Daniel’s Coffee will be sold as ground coffee, both regular and decaffeinated, on the Jack Daniel’s online store initially before being rolled out nationwide in the US.
The 8.8oz tins are available online at an RRP of US$21.95 and the 1.5oz gift bags at US$6.95.
In April last year, Diageo’s Bulleit Bourbon teamed up with The Gentlemen Barristas to create the UK’s first range of barrel-aged coffees.
