Knob Creek gets GTR gift focus
Beam Suntory Global Travel Retail (GTR) has released a travel retail gift box for Knob Creek Bourbon.
Beam Suntory has launched a Knob Creek gift pack into global travel retail
Targeting the holiday gifting period, the limited-edition gift box includes a 1-litre bottle and features seasonal red typography on black card with embossed labelling.
In addition, the box is finished with a tear-away strip, reminiscent of the signature wax-dipped seal on the bottle within.
The Bourbon itself remains unchanged – Knob Creek is matured using deep-charred American oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof (50% abv) to “reflect” pre-Prohibition whiskey.
Earlier this year, Beam Suntory removed the nine-year-old age statement from its Knob Creek packs in the US, Canada and Australia. “Given our stocks of ageing Knob Creek, we will in future years use liquid on both sides of nine years to ensure that we always maintain the brand’s taste standard,” a spokesperson told The Spirits Business.
At this year’s TFWA World Exhibition, Beam Suntory confirmed the company is “looking at” opportunities in Japanese white spirits, including the potential development of a vodka or gin.
