Marie Brizard bolsters Eurocash deal
Paris-based drinks group Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits has signed a new distribution agreement with Eurocash that will strengthen its presence in the Polish market.
William Peel maker Marie Brizard has strengthened its distribution agreement with Eurocash
The deal will focus on “flagship” brands, including Krupnik vodka and Wiliam Peel whisky.
Set to take full effect from January 2017, the agreement is part of a wider route-to-market reconfiguration for MBWS as it seeks to meet the objectives of its BiG 2008 strategic plan.
Partner Eurocash is a leading FMCG distributor in Poland. Its CEO, Luis Amaral, also heads up Western Gate, the activist Stock Spirits shareholder.
MBWS, which reported consolidated net sales of€104.3m in the third quarter 2016, and increase of 1.9%, owns a number of brands including Marie Brizard Liqueurs.
Earlier this month, MBWS hosted the Marie Brizard Masters, when German bartender Piotr Sajdak from Salut! Bar in Berlin was named champion.
