Johnnie Walker releases House Global Edition
Diageo-owned blended Scotch Johnnie Walker has launched the Johnnie Walker House Exclusive Collection Global Edition, commemorating the “travel heritage” of the brand.
Johnnie Walker has released its latest House-exclusive limited edition
The next instalment in the Johnnie Walker House Willow Collection, the latest edition was created in partnership with illustrators Good Wives and Warriors.
Depicting a “modern traveller’s dreamscape”, the detailed design has been etched in blue under-glaze on a porcelain bottle in the signature Johnnie Walker square shape.
Featuring landmarks from the seven continents of the world, including the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Giza and the Victoria Falls, the design references the “epic” Johnnie Walker “voyage” from Scotland to the world.
The release will only be available from the Johnnie Walker House network which has flagships in Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul and Chengdu, and a travel retail presence in Taipei, Mumbai, Singapore, Auckland, and Schiphol airports, plus the Johnnie Walker House Trunk in Johannesburg.
“As one of the world’s first global brands, travel is embedded in the very origins of Johnnie Walker,” said Lawrence Law, global general manager at Johnnie Walker House.
“The strap line of the John Walker & Sons travel guide Around the World, created in 1920, reads: ‘We sailed wherever ship could sail’, and this is the aspiration that the Johnnie Walker House Exclusive Collection Global Edition exemplifies.
“We are excited to share this limited edition with like-minded individuals who have a passion for travel, adventure and discovery.”
Johnnie Walker House Exclusive Collection Global Edition follows the launch of a limited-run Singapore-themed porcelain release in May 2015.
