Burleighs unveils pink gin inspired by Japan
Leicestershire gin brand Burleighs has launched a limited edition pink gin featuring botanicals such as preserved Japanese cherry blossom, pink grapefruit, hibiscus and rose flowers.
The new expression was inspired by a recent trip to Japan
Following a trip to Japan made by master distiller Jamie Baxter, the brand has unveiled Burleighs Gin Pink Edition, available in a limited run of just 600 bottles.
Using Burleighs London dry recipe, the new edition is distilled with Japanese preserved cherry blossom, pink grapefruit, hibiscus and rose flowers.
Baxter said: “Tokyo is full of wonders and I have created a gin that encompasses some of the excitement and joy that can be found in the great city.”
Burleighs Gin Pink Edition is said to be “vibrant, smooth and fresh” and is presented in an opaque pink bottle.
The limited edition batch is available online at www.burleighsgin.com and from 45 West Bottle Shop & Bar in Leicester.
