Jim Beam celebrates summer American-style

Jim Beam is set to roll out an American-themed ‘Bourbon and Burger’ promotion for the UK on-trade throughout July and August.

The campaign aims to encourage bars to invest in the rise of American dining in the UK.

Maxxium UK’s marketing controller for imported whiskey, Janice McIntosh, said: “We’ve developed this Jim Beam summer activation to reflect the increasing popularity of American-style summer events in the on-trade calendar. Jim Beam is an authentic Kentucky Bourbon and this promotion celebrates its heritage as well as the British love affair with American food.”

Customers who purchase four or more bottles of either Jim Beam Honey, Red Stag by Jim Beam or Jim Beam Apple will receive a Stars and Stripes pack to turn their venue into an American-style diner and offer a Bourbon and burger experience.

Contents include colourful posters, tent cards, burger boxes, bunting, signature serves and four bottles of both Jim Beam Cherry Bourbon and Jim Beam Original sauces.

1,800 packs are available direct from field sales and wholesalers including Matthew Clark, Bookers, Molson Coors, Tenants, Greene King and Martons.

In February Maxxium UK unveiled a global packaging redesign for the brand.
