Hpnotiq liqueur has launched the second phase of its #SINCE2001 campaign this summer, partnering with rapper 2 Chainz to feature in his latest music video.

The Heaven Hill Brands-owned blue liqueur is shown in the rapper’s new video “Not Invited” which launched mid-July on Hpnotiq’s Instagram account. The video is set in a 2001 hip-hop party, filmed from the point of view of the rapper’s French bulldog, Trappy.

In addition, promoter and snapchat celebrity YesJulz and broadcasters Bodega Boys will also join the brand’s “Class of 2001” partnership.

YesJulz, will partner with the brand at her 1am parties across the country, and feature the product on her social media channels.

“Hpnotiq is a brand renowned for creating a lifestyle and cultivating a celebrity following that defined the early 2000’s,” said Hpnotiq senior brand manager, Brittany Capito.

“That same pop culture phenomenon from 2001 is encapsulated in the iconic bright blue bottle today as we see a resurgence among markets with the brand. We’re excited to usher in the next phase of Hpnotiq with high caliber roster additions to the #SINCE2001 campaign.”

The brand will continue to partner with artist Naturel to curate new brand designs for a custom colouring book, as well as with the Bodega Boys, Desus Nice and The Kid Metro, to create a live podcast experience in New York.

Last year Hpnotiq launched a campaign offering a selection of signature serves.
