Licor Beirão ‘apologises’ to England’s Kane

Portuguese liqueur brand Licor Beirão has issued an ‘apology’ to England footballer Harry Kane after he was kicked in the head by Portugal’s Bruno Alves during a friendly last week.

Titled “We’re sorry, Harry Kane”, the video replays the acrobatic tackle with the brand noting the foul took place in front of its advertising.

“This is definitely not the image we want to be remembered for,” states the brand.

“So we decided to patch things up with Harry…”
