Larios makes UK debut with £500k campaign
Beam Suntory has launched its full range of Larios gin in the UK for the first time, backed by a £500,000 advertising campaign.
Larios gin’s three-strong range is now available in the UK market
Larios has made its debut in the market after Beam Suntory inked a deal with Conviviality-owned Catalyst Brands, ending its agreement with Maxxium UK.
Larios Dry Gin, premium variant Larios 12 and flavoured brand extension Larios Rosé are now available on the market.
The launch is accompanied by an advertising campaign that “capitialises on the Mediterranean imagery associated with the Larios brand”, including in-bar branded experiences, festival sponsorship and pop-up street festival events.
“In a buoyant gin market like ours we know that the Larios name will attract attention from those who identify with its characteristic Mediterranean cues from their travels but the flavour profile also stands out extremely well in a crowded category with its citrus botanicals and distinctive orange and lemon serve.
“Larios 12 adds a premium expression to the range, while Lario Rosé will appeal to those looking for a softer, sweeter, more delicate gin experience.
“Summer is the ideal launch platform for Larios with plenty of opportunities for customer and consumer to experience its unique flavour profile. We are excited to be bringing a sophisticated Spanish fiesta to the UK gin party.”
