Bloom partners with florist for on-pack promo

Quintessential Brands-owned Bloom Gin has teamed up with online florist Bloom & Wild for a UK gift-with-purchase promotion.

Running from now until mid-August 2016, customers who purchase a 70cl bottle of Bloom Gin will receive a complimentary summer bouquet of flowers from Bloom & Wild.

Details of the promotion are features on neck tags, placed on more than 8,000 bottles. The initiative is running in supermarkets Tesco, Sainsbury’s Morrisons, Waitrose, Booths and online with Ocado.

To redeem the offer, customers enter a code printed on the neck tag via Bloom Gin’s website.

“We wanted to make Bloom Gin the perfect gift in beers, wines and spirits (BWS) for female consumers,” said Caroline Morin, customer marketing manager at Essential Drinks, part of the Quintessential Brands Group.

“Bloom is a floral gin with a very similar shopper profile to Bloom & Wild, targeting confident women. This offer rewards our loyal consumers and helps us to recruit new ones, with a truly differentiating proposition.’’

Lindsay Newell, Bloom & Wild marketing manager, added: “We saw the collaboration as a natural fit, especially with our similar names. We are excited to be working with Bloom Gin – another great British brand.”

Bloom Gin promotional bottles are on sale at the usual RSP of £24 for 70cl.
