British Bottle Company to launch brands in US

The British Bottle Company has struck a deal with Vine Street Importers to launch a selection of its wine and spirits portfolio throughout the US.

The British Bottle Company is readying to launch part of its wine and spirits portfolio in the US

The British Bottle Company represents 20 British drinks brands, including spirits, which will be imported by Vine Street in the US and sold through the New Jersey-based business’ list of state distributors.

Pinkster and Boxer gins will be the first spirits to benefit from the partnership and will be followed by further releases in the US over the coming months.

Pinkster Gin recently exceeded its £600,000 crowdfunding target, a portion of which will be used to back its launch in the US.

“We have spent almost two years developing an understanding of the US market and planning the right entry,” said Red Johnson, founder and CEO of The British Bottle Company.

“In Vine Street we have a dynamic partner with a real enthusiasm for our brands and a fantastic network throughout the States.

“As the world’s thirst for British drinks continues to grow, we are looking forward to developing the US market as a substantial part of our business in the coming years.”

The British Bottle Company plans to exhibit its spirits and wine brands at numerous exhibitions under the Vine Street company and is readying to embark upon marketing and brand building activities.

In order to support this, the firm is planning to establish a US subsidiary and appoint a country manager.
