The Daffy’s Gin logo – designed by New York-based artist Robert McGinnis and displaying Daffy, the Goddess of Gin – was showcased on the turning vanes of the Manor Racing team’s MRT05 race cars.

Furthermore, a new limited edition Manor Racing Daffy’s Gin bottle will launch in late spring via the Daffy’s Gin website and selected Waitrose stores throughout the UK.

“There is a striking synergy between ourselves and Manor Racing,” commented Chris Molyneaux, master distiller and co-founder of Daffy’s. “In our individual fields, we’re smaller, independent players that aim and dream big.

“There’s a shared passion and love of life and travel, but also a steely determination to stay true to our end ambition and create something exceptional.”

Daffy’s Gin was first launched in December 2014 and is bottled at 43.4% abv.

The brand will also be involved in numerous exclusive co-hosted events around the 2016 FIA Formula 1 World Championship calendar.

“The spirit of Daffy’s as envisioned by Robert McGinnis, perfectly captures the old world glamour and parties that accompanied British racing’s heyday in the sixties and seventies,” said Abdulla Boulsien, Manor Racing.

“I’m sure that together Manor Racing and Daffy’s are going to have a memorable year on and off the racetrack.”
