Loch Lomond Scotch whiskies set for US debut

Independent distiller and blender, Loch Lomond, will enter the US market following an exclusive distribution agreement with national importer A. Hardy USA.

Whiskies from the Loch Lomond distillery will soon be distributed across the US

A. Hardy USA is currently developing distribution networks for the Loch Lomond portfolio in the US market, and expects the brands to be available after March 1, 2016.

Loch Lomond owns the Glen Scotia distillery in Campbeltown, and the Loch Lomond distillery near the Scottish Highlands.

The group offers a portfolio of single malt whisky expressions, blended whisky brands, and also gin and vodka variants including Glen’s Vodka.

A. Hardy USA president, Mark Levinson, said: “We are very excited to represent such great brand names, and the Loch Lomond products greatly enhance the Hardy USA scotch portfolio.

“We are already receiving dozens of inquiries from distributors who have heard about the Loch Lomond group coming to the United States.”

In 2014 a private equity firm acquired The Loch Lomond Distillery for an undisclosed sum, hiring an ex-Diageo boss as its new chair.
