Salvatore Calabrese updates Classic Cocktails
Famed bartender Salvatore Calabrese has released an updated version of his Classic Cocktails book, containing 50 new recipes and more information on global cocktail trends.

Calabrese, known as “The Maestro”, is to launch the latest edition of Classic Cocktails through publishing house Sterling.
The book, described as a “must-have” by The New York Times, contains new chapters, new images, information on cocktail trends, tasting notes and mixology techniques, as well as historical facts.
It also includes 50 new recipes for serves including the turn-of-the-century Absinthe Suissesse, barrel-aged Blood and Sand, and Prohibition era The Angel’s Tit, in addition to recipes for cocktail ingredients such as flavoured syrups and homemade shrubs.
Currently head of Salvatore’s Bar at The Playboy Club in London’s Mayfair, Calabrese created what is believed to be the world’s oldest Martini earlier this year,
His Classic Cocktails is available from this month at an RRP of £14.99.
