Our/London set to release first vodka

Our/London, the London-based footprint of Pernod Ricard’s global network of micro-distilleries, is to release its first product later this month.

The Hackney-based micro-distillery is led by local entrepreneurs Clive Watson and Neil Chivers, who have backgrounds in hospitality and music respectively.

Part of Pernod Ricard’s Our/Vodka concept, the first vodka from Our/London is described as “smooth, fresh, with fruity notes and a natural sweetness”.

It is packaged in a simple 35cl bottle sealed with a crown cap with a resealable lid, and the label details the batch and bottle number.

“Launching Our/London is an exciting step for both Clive and I, giving us the chance to work and collaborate with creative people and interesting brands in the city that we love,” said Chivers.

Our/Vodka was first announced in March 2013 and has seen Absolut partner with urban micro distilleries in cities around the world to create a range of different vodkas which, according to each distiller, communicates each city’s personality. Our/Vodka has already launched in Berlin, Amsterdam, Detroit and Seattle, with Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Houston set to launch after London.

Our/London’s Batch 1 will launch on 25 November. The vodka is bottled at 37.5% abv in a 350ml bottle and carries an RRP of £19.00.
