Luxury British gin Givinity makes debut
A new British gin brand has launched with the aim of holding the same luxury appeal in the gin category as Chanel holds in perfume.
Givinity is a new luxury British gin brand created in Cambridgeshire
Created in Cambridgeshire, Givinity is a London dry gin distilled in small batches using the “finest” ingredients.
It is bottled in a Cognac-style decanter printed with 11-carat gold and featuring a neck label wrapped with gold aluminium and finished with a gold plated bottle closure.
The brand was officially unveiled this week at the five-star Corinthia Hotel in London, where a cocktail with 24-carat gold leaf was served.
Ginvinity has partnered with luxury water brand VOSS Water and are together planning to launch a Valentine’s Day gift box.
Ginvinity joins a raft of other brands capitalising on the British gin boom. In 2014, the UK exported a record-breaking £394 million worth of gin, enough to make more than 1.6 billion gin and tonics.
