Luxury British gin Givinity makes debut
By Amy HopkinsA new British gin brand has launched with the aim of holding the same luxury appeal in the gin category as Chanel holds in perfume.
Givinity is a new luxury British gin brand created in CambridgeshireCreated in Cambridgeshire, Givinity is a London dry gin distilled in small batches using the “finest” ingredients.
It is bottled in a Cognac-style decanter printed with 11-carat gold and featuring a neck label wrapped with gold aluminium and finished with a gold plated bottle closure.
The brand was officially unveiled this week at the five-star Corinthia Hotel in London, where a cocktail with 24-carat gold leaf was served.
Ginvinity has partnered with luxury water brand VOSS Water and are together planning to launch a Valentine’s Day gift box.
Ginvinity joins a raft of other brands capitalising on the British gin boom. In 2014, the UK exported a record-breaking £394 million worth of gin, enough to make more than 1.6 billion gin and tonics.
