By Amy HopkinsDiageo and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs have extended the Cîroc Vodka portfolio with the launch of a new apple flavour.
Ciroc Apple is the latest addition to the vodka brand’s flavoured portfolioThe sixth vodka in grape-based Cîroc’s flavoured range, Cîroc Apple is said to have a “fresh and crisp” flavour.
Combs, who owns a stake in the brand and also acts as its global brand ambassador, revealed the new bottling during his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
“Cîroc has always focused on innovation and celebration,” said Combs. “Our flavours remain at the heart of our unprecedented success.
“The new Cîroc Apple combines one of my favorite flavours with the greatest ultra premium vodka. We have created a liquid that everyone will want to drink, whether mixing it into fall inspired cocktails or enjoying it in its purest form, on the rocks.”
To promote the new flavour, Diageo has commissioned American performance painter David Garabaldi to create a series of billboards in Los Angeles and New York with a “forbidden fruit” theme.
Combs also hosted the Emperor’s Ball in New York City to celebrate the launch of Cîroc Apple on 31 October.
Other flavours in the Cîroc Vodka range include pineapple, peach, amaretto, red berry and coconut.
