Jose Cuervo unveils limited edition Rolling Stones bottles

Jose Cuervo has launched two special edition bottles in homage to the Rolling Stones’ 1972 North American Tour.

The band unofficially dubbed the tour “The Tequila Sunrise Tour”

The Rolling Stones tasted their first ever Cuervo Tequila Sunrise cocktail at The Trident bar in San Francisco during the benchmark tour, naming it their “official tour cocktail” and unofficially dubbing the series of shows “The Tequila Sunrise Tour”.

As a result the drink accompanied them to 32 cities and 48 shows, so in homage Jose Cuervo is releasing two limited edition bottlings of Cuervo Especial and Reserva de la Familia under the series title Jose Cuervo: The Rolling Stones Tour Pick.

The designs are intended to be”a portal into rock ‘n’ roll history”, giving consumers the chance to “party like The Stones and the gaggle of celebrities and fans in their wake”.

The Special Edition Rolling Stones Jose Cuervo Especial and Collector’s Edition Reserva de la Familia bottles are priced at US$16.99 and US$149.99 respectively, and will be available across the US.

In celebration of the releases, Jose Cuervo is taking fans in LA for “a ride through rock n’ roll history” on the Tequila Sunrise Bus Tour.

Guests will explore the music venues and after-party haunts that the Rolling Stones frequented, such as The Roxy Theatre, the Chateau Marmont, The Viper Room, and many more.
