D1 Potato Vodka readies for UK launch

D.J. Limbrey Distilling Co. is set to extend its spirits portfolio with the launch of a super-premium vodka – D1 Potato Vodka.

D1 Potato Vodka follows the launch of D1 London Dry Gin

Following the launch of D1 London Gin earlier this year, D1 Potato Vodka has secured an exclusive six-week listing with Harvey Nichols, as well as in select bars, clubs and restaurants across London, Manchester and Birmingham.

The company has partnered with artist Jacky Tsai, to design the reversible vodka bottle, which features the artist’s ‘Stained Glass Skull’ to give “strong shelf presence”.

Distilled through seven column stills, the vodka is non-filtered and said to offer a “velvet-soft mouth feel and creamy taste”.

“Having established an award-winning London Dry gin, we’ve set our sights on the vodka category,” said Dominic Limbrey, founder of D.J. Limbrey Distilling Co. “We have transferred our gin’s innovative design and versatility into this new category so that people can enjoy D1 Potato Vodka in a way that reflects their individual taste and style.

“Harvey Nichols shares our passion for international design and uncompromising quality and we’re pleased to be partnering with them and select on-trade venues across the country.

“We are also proud to announce our collaboration with Boutique Brands, the luxury drinks brand development specialists, who will be exclusive distribution agents for both our new D1 Potato Vodka and our existing D1 London Gin.”

D1 Potato Vodka will launch on 31 October with an RRP of £39.95.
