Actor Jeremy Renner stars in Rémy campaign
Cognac house Rémy Martin has launched a new global advertising campaign featuring The Avengers and The Hurt Locker actor Jeremy Renner.
Jeremy Renner has been named Rémy Martin Cognac’s new global brand ambassador
The campaign, called One Life/Live Them, encourages people to “explore, embrace and celebrate” all of their talents.
Renner, who is also a producer, musician and home renovator, has been identified as the “ideal” ambassador for the campaign, which will officially launch in Europe on 2 November at the La Maison Rémy Martin London private members’ club.
“This is a new chapter in the history of Rémy Martin, and we’re delighted to be working with someone who so completely embodies the lifestyle that we are celebrating,” said Eric Vallat, CEO of Rémy Martin.
A two-time Academy Award nominee, Renner has also starred in blackbuster hits such as The Town, American Hustle and The Bourne Legacy.
“I am excited to work with this iconic brand and to help launch this new campaign,” he said. “The story of how to live your life really resonates with me personally.
“I think to fully realise one’s potential you must take action, remain curious, embrace your failures as they are gifts, and honour your successes with humility. We are all many things and cannot and should not be defined by one thing, which is truly awesome.”
To coincide with the campaign launch, Rémy Martin’s private members’ club in Soho Townhouse will host a selection of “lifestyle partners” to encourage its members to “explore their own hidden talents”.
Earlier this year, German actress Diane Kruger was named global ambassador for Martell Cognac, fronting a new campaign in celebration of its 300th anniversary.
