Grey Goose transforms Manhattan for US Open

Grey Goose vodka is marking its US Open Tennis Championships partnership with a Manhattan-wide “Winning Shot” activation, which sees the area’s grid system transformed into a giant tennis court.

Grey Goose has mapped out a giant tennis court throughout Manhattan’s grid system to plot the location of winning shots for a series of after-parties.

On each day of the US Open finals, Grey Goose is mapping the winning shots struck by leading players in the tournament. The Bacardi-owned brand is then plotting the position of that shot on its Manhattan-wide tennis court and surprising individuals aged 21+ with an after-party at that location.

The campaign was designed to “bring the daytime action of the US Open to night life off the court” at premium Winning Shot venues across the city.

New Yorkers can receive alerts and updates for the parties at winningshot.greygoose.com

“Grey Goose honours those who ‘Fly Beyond’ in their athletic endeavours and acknowledges their extraordinary paths to achievement,” said Tom Swift, VP managing director,Grey Goose vodka.

“We look forward to providing US Open spectators and enthusiasts across New York City with the opportunity to celebrate these individuals’ wins, and be a real part of the excitement both on and off the court with us through ‘The Winning Shot’.”

With the return of the US Open comes Grey Goose Honey Deuce, a signature cocktail made with lemonade raspberry liqueur and honeydew melon “tennis balls”.

The US Open serve will be available for purchase in commemorative cups listing past US Open champions at the main Grey Goose bar in the Arthur Ashe Stadium and select Grey Goose carts situated throughout the stadium grounds.

Last month, Grey Goose teamed up with travel retailer Aelia for a Grey Goose Interpreted by Ducasse activation at three French airports.
