Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin has been named the official gin sponsor of the International Holi Festival of Colours 2015 and 2016.
The world’s fastest growing super-premium gin brand will sponsor the Ancient Hindu religious festival, which signifies good championing over evil and has extended to non-Hindus and become a celebratory occasion around the world.
More than 60,000 people are expected to gather at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September for the first Ophir-sponsored festival with musical entertainment scheduled by DJ Nervo and a bar set to serve Opihr drinks in specially designed noodle boxes.
At the festival, participants celebrate by chasing each other with dry powder and coloured water, with powder released into the crowds throughout the day.
